Conspicious Media Blockade on MJ's Faith

The world mourns Michael Jackson (or shall I say Mikaeel Jackson) MJ in short. The whole day the world electronic and printed media talk about MJ. Internet awashed with MJ news. Instant commentators specializing in Mj appeared every where.

I was one of the early ones to blog about MJ's death. Bloggers came in throng to write about MJ. Suddenly Iran's Ahmadinejad win of the Presidential election where fraudulent was accused and North Korea warning nuclear bombardment if attacked by the U.S didn't make impact. The news industry was partying on MJ's death news.

The world knows that in November 2008, MJ converted to Islam. He made relation with the Arab worlds and Muslims all over were ecstatic with the news. Even tough they were people doubting his conversion but lets take that at face value. MJ died a Muslim.

But the media were conspicuously SILENT about. I scanned through most the Internet news feed but none talked about MJ's faith. Obituaries talked about his life history from childhood star to the sudden death. But again none regarding his conversion. This is indeed very strange. It seems as if the world is gaged about the Muslim MJ. Why? One answer is that the people who control the world media do not want to give Islam a free publicity. That is why no mention about this important stage of MJ's life.

What we would like to know is, will MJ's body be shrouded in the white 'kafan' cloth.Will 'Solat Janazah' be performed on him. And final question, will he be buried in Islamic cemetery?
The Islamic world demand the news about their fellow brother. MJ might had not been a perfect Muslim but he was a Muslim nonetheless.

So being a Muslim MJ should be buried in accordance to Islamic rites and his brother Jermine (or Muhammad Abd Aziz) must see that MJ be accorded with one. The Muslims all over the world must be informed about it.
