Yesterday the setpol for Selangor Exco Ean Ean Yong Hian Wah was found death at SPRM Selangor. He was taken to the SPRM office for questioning regarding the accusation of misuse of state government fund for ADUN among the PR legislators.

Now let our police carry out the proper investigation to find out what realy happened to the late Teo Beng Hock, 30.

There is something fishy about the whole episode. The sudden spates of investigations came after Khir Toyo and his gang were suspended from the DUN with all benefits of an ADUN revoked during the suspension time which is from 6 to 12 months.

ADUN and MP have allocations from the government to distribute in the constituency in the interest of the rakyat welfare. RM500k is allocated to each ADUN every year. The money shall be used to help the communities the serve regardless of political inclination or class.

Misappropriations of the fund happen and investigation must be conducted and if found guilty, the person or persons in charge must be penalised. However, selected prosecutions must not be practised.

If SPRM wants to investigate, do go ahead but investigate also the various reports submitted by the opposition during the Khir Toyo era. Why only now the SPRM (formerly BPR) acts so promptly to reports but previuoly did not. What happen to the many documents submitted by one Ahmad Lotfi accusing Khir Toyo corrupt practices.

Wah... when Khir Toyo and his men were sentenced to 6-12 moths suspension, suddenly SPRM swing into action to start investigation on PR Wakil Rakyat. Was SPRM acted on demand of revenge by certain quarters??

Let us be fair, Mr SPRM. Please continue your investigations on the PR ADUNs but also open your investigation on the fund distributions during Khir Toyo MB terms. From what we gathered when PR took over the Selangor state government in March 2008, the funds were nearly finished. In 3 months RM500k allocations for each ADUN were nearly dried up. In 3 months!. BN ADUNS must be very efficient in distributing these monies, yeah!.

SPRM must not let themselves to be a tool for UMNO to get even on the PR. Is this UMNO revenge?
